About the role

We're looking for a Revenue Development Representative to help fuel Optable's pipeline and go-to-market engine. This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and RevOps — you'll generate qualified pipeline through outbound and inbound channels, curate and grow our contact base, support Account Executives around industry events, and use AI to prospect faster and smarter. You'll be a key contributor to how we identify, engage, and convert the right prospects, and a champion of our culture of focus, discipline, and speed. This is a launch pad: we hire RDRs with a clear path to Account Executive.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and book meetings for the AE team through outbound and inbound channels (calls, email, social, events), meeting or exceeding monthly qualified-meeting targets.
  • Use AI tools to make prospecting and outreach faster, smarter, and more personalized — building and prioritizing target lists.
  • Curate, grow, and continuously clean our CRM database to improve targeting and data quality.
  • Support Account Executives before, during, and after industry events with research, outreach, and follow-up.
  • Partner with Marketing to shape messaging and campaigns aimed at event attendees and key prospects.
  • Work with RevOps to streamline and automate prospecting workflows, increasing efficiency and lead quality.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of outreach and pipeline activity in the CRM.

Skills and qualifications

  • 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally in a sales, marketing, or customer-facing role or a proven track record as a BDR/SDR.
  • Familiarity with ad-tech, digital marketing, or publishing is a strong asset.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to streamline prospecting and outreach.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong follow-through.
  • Familiar with CRMs, ideally HubSpot; experience with tools like Clay and Attention a plus.
  • Creative in your approach to outreach, messaging, and problem-solving.
  • Passionate about winning as a team and contributing beyond your immediate role.
  • English essential (much of our outreach is US-facing); French is an asset.
  • Based in Montreal; comfortable working from our HQ.
